OSS Racing Channel Now Online

Author: Ron Polli
1/6/2009 -
The OSS Racing Channel is now it’s available 24/7 on your computer. OSS has partnered with American Powerboat Television to deliver this content to your computer via streaming media. Look for new races to be uploaded weekly as we build the content library over the next few months.
The site is powered by Endavo Media's interactive video player. Along with technical features, product showcases, classic offshore races and kilo runs, the site will also broadcast live selected OSS races during the upcoming season. Viewers have the option to participate in online forums related to each specific program and share their favorite individual shows with friends through APBTV's proprietary file-sharing program.
"I believe that the Internet is the future for television in terms of true viewer interaction and program choices," said John Potts, executive producer for APBTV. "We believe that our Fox and Speed Channel broadcasts have helped promote the sport of offshore racing and look forward to expanding the audience base even further by giving viewers the ability to see these exciting events on demand."
